Product Manager - Web Services

Do you have a couple of years of Product Management experience in the software industry? Or do you have sales/marketing/account rep experience in the software industry and want to move into Product Management? If so, this may be the job for you.

As a Product Manager you will be responsible for driving the strategy, direction, execution and financial results for DOTS validation web services. In this role, you will assume ownership of the product and accountability for both client satisfaction and financial results.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for market analysis that includes conducting market research and gathering industry expert opinions and quantitative market data for different market segments and prioritizing targets and market opportunities for the product.

You will identify enhancements to the existing product that will address the target market opportunities and you will create requirements that satisfy the needs of the target market.

You will also be responsible for product planning that includes establishing a product strategy that supports our overall product portfolio strategy and you will manage the entire product life cycle from concept through strategic planning to tactical activities such as market requirements definition, product release requirements, product contract and product positioning.

You will establish revenue and contribution targets for your product line and work extensively with other functional areas to achieve those targets.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business/ Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 2 years experience in Product Management, product marketing or marketing information products or sales an marketing experience in the software industry.
