DOTS Phone Exchange is a multi-database XML Web Service designed to identify which NPAs/NXXs are valid and are assigned to a given region, carrier and line type. We validate your telephone numbers by cross-referencing the state, city, area code, latitude and longitude against known valid U.S. and Canada phone numbers. DOTS Phone Exchange is compatible with existing application development technologies, and is based on industry standards such as XML, SOAP, and WSDL.
